Danica McKellar is best known for her role as Winnie Cooper on the series The Wonder Years. She went on to be in many movies and TV series including “How I met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, NYPD Blue, The West Wing, Babylon 5, Walker Texas Ranger, NCIS and the list goes on. She was also on Dancing With The Stars.
Unlike many other child stars, instead of going down the path of drugs and debauchery, she went to college and earned a degree. She attended UCLA and graduated summa cum laude in 1998 with a degree in mathematics. She co-authored an academic paper named “Percolation and Gibbs states multiplicity for ferromagnetic Ashkin-Teller models on Z2“. 9Wgat the hell does that even mean?) She’s also written four books to encourage girls to take an interest in math: Math Doesn’t Suck, Kiss My Math, Hot X: Algebra Exposed and Girls Get Curves: Geometry Takes Shape. And the best part, she’s very easy on the eyes.
